In July 2024, while 8 months pregnant, we began the painstaking process of mold remediation in our home, which ultimately resulted in the demolition of our primary bathroom. With just over a month until baby’s due date and our original builder refusing to accept responsibility for their error, we were scrambling to put our home back together in time. Scott Call and his amazing crew were the answer to our prayers. His guys worked tirelessly, and sometimes overtime, to make sure everything got done and was done to their standards. Scott touched base daily and personally came out multiple times a week to check on the progress. The attention to detail as well as the quality of both the work done and the people involved made the experience a truly pleasant one, so much so that we were actually a little sad when it came to an end. We cannot recommend Scott Call and Southern Trend enough!

We had a great experience working with Southern Trend from start to finish. Southern Trend went above and beyond to meet our timeline expectations, provide sound recommendations where needed, and make us feel comfortable along the way.  We were living an hour away at the time, so we were unable to be at the home on a daily basis. Scott created an environment where we felt incredibly comfortable and in-tune with what was happening each day. He went above and beyond by making efforts to store & label fixtures awaiting to be hung, Face Timing us for decisions when we could not be there in person, etc. Southern Trend was very communicative and easy to get in touch with, which made a huge difference in our project. I highly recommend Southern Trend Custom Homes. The owner, Scott Call, truly takes care of his clients. He listens carefully to your needs and not only delivers on your vision but also provides valuable suggestions and guidance when you need additional ideas or expertise. My husband and I completed a major addition to our home while continuing to live there. At one point, an entire exterior wall of our main living room was removed and pushed outward to expand the space. Despite the extent of the construction, Scott designed a temporary wall system that completely separated the work area from our living space, allowing us to continue using the room while keeping dust and disruption to a minimum. What impressed me most was the respect Scott receives from his subcontractors and tradespeople. It was clear that they value his leadership and professionalism, and that respect is reflected in the quality of their work and the way the project was managed.

Over the years we’ve remodeled our home from top to bottom, and Scott has been involved in more than 90% of it. From nearly our entire downstairs to our most recent projects (our entire upstairs, a complete patio remodel, and the exterior of our home) Scott has been the one constant through it all. There are plenty of contractors who can produce beautiful work. What makes Scott different is the trust we have in him. He is honest, incredibly easy to work with, and genuinely cares about getting things right. The people he brings into our home are top-notch, and he holds every trade and every detail to an incredibly high standard. Remodeling can be stressful, especially at the scale we’ve done it, but having someone you completely trust makes all the difference. After multiple major renovations together, I think the strongest recommendation I can give is this: when we decide to do another project, I don’t shop around. I call Scott. He has earned that trust over the years of working on our home, and I cannot recommend Scott and Southern Trend Custom Homes highly enough.
